Baltimore County - Essex

Burglary A 1998 Dodge truck was parked in the driveway of a house in the 200 block of Wampler Road on Monday afternoon when someone removed one of its tags and removed four nail guns, hand tools, a sander, an impact air gun and a ratchet set, all valued at nearly $1,200. The stolen tag was 9OL681.

Vandalism Police were seeking whoever used a metal object to scratch the sides and hood of at least six vehicles parked on Grovethorn and Graythorn roads Sunday night or early Monday. Police said damage to the vehicles was estimated at about $1,100.

Baltimore County - Towson

Robbery try A man, 28, was sitting on a bench at a bus stop in the 100 block of E. Joppa Road about 8:30 p.m. Monday when a younger man approached and sat beside him. Moments later, the younger man pulled out a knife, placed it to the side of the victim and demanded his cell phone. The victim refused to comply and fled before calling police. No arrest had been made.

Baltimore County - Franklin

Burglary Someone broke into a house in the first block of St. Thomas Lane through a rear bathroom window between April 2 and Monday and removed a laptop computer, $100 in cash and six U.S. savings bonds.
