No. 7 UMBC (7-2)

Coming up: Vs. Binghamton, Saturday, 7:30 p.m., UMBC Stadium

Comment: Aside from the series opener in 2004, the Retrievers have won every meeting - a span of seven games. Attackman Chris Jones has scored a career-high 10 goals this season.

No. 9 Maryland (6-3)

Coming up: At No. 15 Navy, Friday, 7 p.m.

Comment: Will the Terps feel weighted down by the memory of Saturday's seven-overtime loss to No. 1 Virginia? Brett and Max Schmidt (no relation) lead the team with 11 forced turnovers.

No. 12 Johns Hopkins (3-4)

Coming up: Vs. No. 17 Albany, Saturday, noon, Homewood Field

Comment: The Blue Jays have dominated the Great Danes with a 6-1 record, but Hopkins has lost its past three games this season. The Jays also lost three in a row each of the previous two seasons. Steven Boyle has three goals and two assists in two games against Albany.

No. 15 Navy (7-3)

Coming up: Vs. No. 9 Maryland, Friday, 7 p.m., Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium

Comment: The Midshipmen trail in the series, but they have won four of the past five meetings. Junior attackman Tim Paul has four goals and one assist in two career meetings with the Terps.

No. 19 Loyola (5-4)

Coming up: At Rutgers, Saturday, 1 p.m.

Comment: The Greyhounds and Scarlet Knights have met eight times since 1990, with Loyola winning seven times. Cooper MacDonnell was named Eastern College Athletic Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Week after scoring a career-high five goals against No. 2 Syracuse.

Mount St. Mary's (1-6)

Coming up: At Canisius, Saturday, noon

Comment: The Mountaineers won 14 of the first 16 contests, but the Golden Griffins have won the past two. Freshman Anthony Golden has put five shots on net, scoring four times.

Towson (4-5)

Coming up: Vs. Sacred Heart, Saturday, 2 p.m., Johnny Unitas Stadium.

Comment: The Tigers have won all seven meetings. Towson coach Tony Seaman became the 16th coach in NCAA Division I history to reach 250 victories.
