An article in some editions Wednesday incorrectly described events involving the death of a pedestrian on a road in Linthicum. The man was killed Monday night after he and a van, owned by Holy Temple Church of God International in Annapolis and driven by Leila L. Thomas, were struck by a Mazda, police said.

A headline about McCormick & Co.'s earnings Wednesday incorrectly said the company trimmed its profit outlook. In fact, the spice maker provided a low-end sales outlook.

An article Wednesday about the Baltimore school board approving the budget for next academic year incorrectly stated the number of people who would work at the system's headquarters after the planned job eliminations. There would be 1,007 people working at the central office.

The Baltimore Sun regrets the errors.
