Man fatally shot in S. Baltimore

A man was found fatally shot near railroad tracks in the 600 block of W. Patapsco Ave. early yesterday, Baltimore police spokeswoman Nicole Monroe said. The man, whose identity was unknown, was pronounced dead at the scene. He had been shot multiple times. A passer-by found the man on a footpath that leads from West Patapsco Avenue to the Cherry Hill neighborhood, Monroe said. The Baltimore Police Department's homicide division is investigating.

Man, 20, fatally shot in Westport house

Baltimore police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 20-year-old man Saturday night, Baltimore police spokeswoman Nicole Monroe said. Martie Williams, of no known address, was found in what police described as a local "hangout" house in the 2600 block of Maisel St. in the Westport neighborhood about 9 p.m. The gunman came into a room where Williams was going to play video games and shot him multiple times from behind, Monroe said.

Man shot in Dundalk near Logan Elementary

Baltimore County police are investigating the shooting of man last night near Logan Elementary School in Dundalk. North Point Precinct police responded to a report of a man shot in the 7600 block of Dunmanway near Merritt Boulevard shortly before 11 p.m. and found the victim, believed to be in his late 20s, bleeding from at least one bullet wound to the chest. After medics from the nearby Dundalk career fire station provided emergency first aid at the scene, the man was taken by ambulance to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center's shock trauma unit. His condition was not available. Anyone with information is asked to call the North Point Precinct at 410-887-7320.

Body of infant found in Berwyn Heights lake

BERWYN HEIGHTS: Prince George's County police and Maryland-National Capital Park Police are investigating the death of a baby whose body was found inside a bag by two men fishing in a lake near Berwyn Heights, a police spokeswoman said. Cpl. Erica Johnson, the spokeswoman, said the men discovered the body about 3 p.m. yesterday while fishing on Lake Artemesia.
