Constellation executives call millions in payouts necessary

* I was complaining about the bonuses to this guy at work and from a legal point of view he said, "if it is written in their contracts that they are to receive a bonus, then they should get it. Do you want the government to have the ability to look into all contracts and change them to what they see fit? A contract is a binding agreement." I guess he had a point, but I still don't think it's right.

* Those million dollar bonuses could have gone to keeping those 800 people employed and maybe even a little left over to lower rates. ... This is another poster child of what has happened to corporate American, it has become about how much money can be funneled to the Rich at the expense of the poor and what they have discovered is that when the poor are tapped out the entire economy collapses.

* We should have as much outrage for the nitwit politicians that voted for deregulation as we do for the greedy executives.
