Walt Disney World Resort in Florida will feature a new financial education and interactive exhibit thanks to a partnership with Baltimore money manager T. Rowe Price Group.

The Great Piggy Bank Adventure is set to open May 19 at Epcot's Innoventions, whose exhibits focus on ideas and innovations, Price announced yesterday.

Financial details of the sponsorship agreement were not disclosed, but money for the project will come from Price's advertising and promotions budget, Price said.

The exhibit, designed in collaboration with Walt Disney Imagineering, will offer lessons on four financial issues: setting goals; saving and spending smartly; staying ahead of inflation; and diversifying your investments.

It is intended to engage children and their parents through activities and games, the company said. A large marquee including Price's name will hang over the exhibit's entrance.

For Price, which was approached by Disney three years ago, the Epcot exhibit is its most unique education outreach program.

"For years, one of the key things we tried to deliver for investors is education and helping people achieve their goals," Edward C. Bernard, Price vice chairman, said yesterday. "One of the many lessons pointed out by the current environment is how important it is for people to save, and really what this offers is a genuinely innovative way to get parents and kids engaged in very simple lessons around savings and investing."

The Disney exhibit will have a companion online game and a related Web site.
