My Best Shot

My wife and I live in Owings Mills. Last fall, we took our first cruise through the inner passage of Alaska. We enjoyed excursions like a helicopter trip to the Mendenhall Glacier outside of Juneau. But we were able to see much of the scenery from our cabin's balcony, including this shot of a rainbow as we entered the port of Sitka. The weather was unusually clear and rain-free during our trip in mid-September, and we enjoyed magnificent views of Alaska every day.
