Coraline : *** 1/2 (3 1/2 stars) The latest piece of puppet-cartoon wizardry from Henry Selick (The Nightmare Before Christmas) lost its 3-D screens to the Jonas Brothers last week. Even seen "flat," this story of a bored girl who finds relief, then terror, in a house that resembles an improved version of her own creates a fully imagined and transporting alternative universe.
