Baltimoreans are offering up some oddball stuff lately on the message board freecycle.org. "Adult walker with issues," is how someone from ZIP code 21207 billed his offering. "It is without wheels, not a rollator. It lacks something in stability." Hey, granny lacks stability, too. She'll love it! In a separate posting, someone from 21209 is offering "5 unopened cans of Campbell's lentil soup (exp. June 6, 2009). Nothing's wrong with these, we just have too many." But wait. There's more! "1 can mock turtle soup (Worthmore brand) 19.5 oz., no expiration date marked, made with beef to simulate turtle soup. I bought this from the Vermont Country Store catalog. It is awful! I couldn't finish the first can, gave the second can away to someone I didn't like, and now I need to find a home for this one." ... And on Craigslist: "Are you a Gorgeous Grandmother interested in Modeling? (Baltimore) Are you gorgeous and accomplished? 'Glam'-Mas is a new calendar project looking for you. We are searching for new faces for our newest project. No nudity!!" We're all relieved.
