Rockets 110, Warriors 93: : Yao Ming had 25 points and 11 rebounds, Ron Artest scored 27 and Houston beat visiting Golden State (15-33). The Rockets (29-19) played without Tracy McGrady (sprained ankle).

Bucks 110, Hawks 107: : Charlie Villanueva scored 27 points to help host Milwaukee (24-27) beat Atlanta (27-20). Mike Bibby led the Hawks with 24 points, and Joe Johnson scored 22, including the 10,000th of his career.

Knicks 122, Pacers 113:: Al Harrington scored 31 points and David Lee added 23 points and 17 rebounds to lead visiting New York (21-25) over Indiana. T.J. Ford scored a career-high 36 points for the Pacers (19-29).

Perry takes FBR lead with 33-foot putt

After erasing a four-stroke deficit in five holes, Kenny Perry wanted to be alone atop the FBR Open leader board. All it took was a 33-foot putt on the 18th hole in Scottsdale, Ariz., to give Perry a one-stroke lead over Scott Piercy through three rounds. Perry, 48, a 12-time winner on the PGA Tour, shot a 5-under-par 66 for a 12-under 201 total. Piercy also had a 66. Perry erased a four-stroke deficit between the 13th and 17th holes. He birdied the 17th to catch Piercy and birdied the 18th to surge past him.

College basketball: : North Carolina State women's coach Kay Yow was laid to rest, a week after her death after a long fight against cancer. Yow was buried in her hometown of Gibsonville, about 70 miles west of the campus in Raleigh. About 300 mourners, including the Wolfpack team and coaching staff, attended the graveside service on a chilly and windy morning.

Obituary: : Ingemar Johansson, the Swede who stunned the boxing world by knocking out Floyd Patterson to win the heavyweight title in 1959, has died. He was 76. Johansson died Friday at a nursing home in Kungsbacka on the Swedish west coast. He was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and dementia more than 10 years ago.

College football: : Florida State wide receiver Preston Parker was arrested in Tallahassee and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. It's the third arrest for Parker, 21, since 2006. Tallahassee police arrested Parker early yesterday after officers found him passed out in his car in a McDonald's drive-through lane. According to police, Parker's blood-alcohol content was 0.054 percent. Florida's limit is 0.08 percent. Parker's urine sample was presumptive positive for marijuana.

NFL: : John Gordy, a former offensive lineman for the Detroit Lions and University of Tennessee who helped form the NFL Players Association, died at 73. The university said Gordy died Friday in Orange, Calif., after a long battle with cancer. ... The Tennessee Titans and Buffalo Bills will play in the Hall of Fame Game on Aug. 9.
