Punk's grand openings

Punk's Backyard Grill, which officially opens today in Westfield Annapolis Mall, will hold a grand opening at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 19.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony and auction with proceeds benefiting the YWCA of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County will be part of the festivities.

Sheila Laderberg, Molly Knipe, Annapolis Mayor Ellen O. Moyer and Alexis Henderson will make brief remarks.

A free grand opening will be held at noon Feb. 21.

Mix 106.5 disc jockey Reagan Warfield will make an appearance.

Restaurant Week

The Annapolis Business Association will host Annapolis Restaurant Week Feb. 16-20 at restaurants in historic and greater Annapolis.

Restaurants will offer three-course meals at $15.95 for lunch and $29.95 for dinner.

Participating restaurants include Azure at the Westin Annapolis, Breeze at Loews Annapolis, Buddy's Crabs and Ribs, Cafe Normandie, Cantler's Riverside Inn, Carpaccio, Carrol's Creek Cafe, Domenicas, Fado Irish Pub, Federal House Bar and Grille, Galway Bay, The Greystone Grill, Harry Browne's, John Barry Restaurant at the O'Callaghan Hotel, Lemongrass, Luna Blu, Lure's Bar and Grill, The Main Ingredient Cafe, The Melting Pot, O'Leary's Seafood Restaurant, Pesce Grande, The Purple Tooth, Pusser's Caribbean Grille, Rams Head Tavern, Reynolds Tavern, Ristorante Piccola Roma, The Rockfish, Ruth's Chris Steak House, Sam's on the Waterfront, The Severn Inn, Stan and Joe's Saloon, Tsunami, Wild Orchid Cafe, and Yellowfin.

Southern Anne Arundel Chamber of Commerce announced its monthly activities.

A South County Festival Meeting to discuss festival plans will be held at 6 p.m. Feb. 9 at the chamber office, 5503 Muddy Creek Road, Churchton.

A Business After Hours Mixer will be held at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 17 at 1530 Cedarhurst Road, Shady Side. The cost is $10 in advance, $15 at the door. RSVP by Feb. 12.

A business breakfast, "Getting Through a Volatile Market: Steps You Can Take Today," presented by Cindy Morgan of Ameriprise Financial Services Inc., will be held 7:30 a.m. Feb. 19 at 5503 Muddy Creek Road, Churchton.
