Police reports in baltimore city and county:

Central Baltimore

Theft A 2004 Cadillac sedan was parked in the first block of Commerce St. on Wednesday when someone broke into the vehicle and stole a navigational system.

Northern Baltimore

Shooting Police said a man was shot in the buttock and arm in York, Pa., yesterday, then got a ride to Union Memorial Hospital, where he was treated. No arrest had been made.

Southeastern Baltimore

Burglary/arrest Police investigating a series of burglaries and attempted burglaries in Fells Point on Wednesday night received information that a man was seen breaking into homes or about to enter them. Police responded to the 2000 block of Gough St. and arrested Wendell Stewart, 47, of no fixed address, and charged him with one count of burglary.

Baltimore County - Parkville

Burglary/arrest A man, 40, was arrested Wednesday and charged with breaking into a cleaners in the 9600 block of Belair Road and stealing an undisclosed sum of money. Officer Bruce Kurtz responded to a burglar alarm at Wholesale Dry Cleaners about 2 a.m. and found footprints in the snow that led to an open door. He observed footprints inside the cleaners that also left the building. The prints were followed to a house in the nearby 4100 block of Glen Park Road, where they interviewed two brothers. Both denied breaking into the cleaners. Later, detectives arrested Jeffrey Merryman, of the Glen Park Road address, on burglary charges.

Baltimore County - Towson

Burglary Video games and a wallet were stolen between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. Wednesday from a house in the 1600 block of Thetford Road by someone who entered the dwelling through the rear while the occupant slept.

Baltimore County - Pikesville

Burglary/vandalism Someone entered a house in the 8000 block of Mollye Road Tuesday or Wednesday and stole video games and their accessories, all valued at $300.

Burglary Two TVs and a laptop computer, all valued at $12,300, were stolen Wednesday from an apartment in the first block of Brubar Court by someone who entered through a bedroom window.

Baltimore County - Woodlawn

Robbery A man and a woman were walking in the 9600 block of Orpin Road about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday when a man armed with a revolver robbed them of a cell phone and a jar containing an undisclosed number of coins.

Burglary Police were seeking whoever climbed onto the roof of Kid's Place Day Care Center in the 8400 block of Carlson Lane near Northwest Hospital Center between Tuesday night and early Wednesday and removed copper coils from an air conditioner. Police said the coils were valued at $15,000.
