Tigers fall in 2 OTs for sixth loss in row

UNC Wilmington 103, Towson 98, 2OT - Josh Thornton and Junior Hairston each scored 25 points for Towson, but UNC Wilmington outlasted the Tigers in double overtime last night at Towson Center.

Hairston added 15 rebounds, and Thornton forced overtime with a three-pointer with 8.1 seconds left in regulation.

UNC Wilmington (5-16, 2-7 Colonial Athletic Association) ended a three-game losing streak.

Jarrel Smith had 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Tigers (7-14, 2-7), who have lost six straight.
