Chamber January events

The Southern Anne Arundel Chamber of Commerce will hold a meeting to discuss this year's South County festival at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Chamber office, 5503 Muddy Creek Road, Churchton. Information: 410-867-3129.

Republican women meet

The Republican Business Women of Anne Arundel County will hold a business meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday for full-time members at Kaufman's, 329 Gambrills Road, Gambrills.

Nancy Hoyt, a founder of the group, will speak on "The Power of Republican Business Women in Today's Economy." A prime rib dinner for all associate members, guests and friends will begin at 7 p.m. . The dinner costs $17.95 per person, payable to Kaufman's. RSVP at Information: 443-226-4764.

Young pros' activities

The Young Anne Arundel Professionals, a social club primarily for single professionals to make new friends and share camaraderie, has announced its programs for January.

Business breakfast

The Annapolis and Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce will host a Business Builder Breakfast at 7:45 a.m. Jan. 21 at Morton's Steakhouse, 1 Park Place, Annapolis.

Joint power networking
