WHEN: Saturday, 7:30 p.m.

OUTLOOK: The area's top two teams have an opportunity to see how they stack up. St. Frances (14-2), whose losses have come to out-of-area opponents, will lean on 6-foot-7 senior Terrell Vinson. For the Lakers (8-0), it starts with tireless team defense; they have outscored opponents by an average of 67-41.

WHEN: Tomorrow, 2 p.m.

OUTLOOK: The Doves play their fourth nationally ranked team, No. 12 in USA Today. The Doves (6-5) will rely on their speed to counter the Crusaders' height. G Akeema Richards (13.3 points) leads the Doves. F-C Tianna Hawkins (13.8 points, nine rebounds) leads the Crusaders (11-2).

Mount Mat Madness

WHERE: CCBC-Catonsville

WHEN: Tomorrow, 2:30 p.m.; Saturday, 8:30 a.m.

OUTLOOK: Six of the area's Top 15 teams - No. 2 Mount St. Joseph, No. 4 McDonogh, No. 5 Old Mill, No. 6 Loyola, No. 7 Archbishop Curley, No. 12 John Carroll - will be among 30 teams competing at the area's premier tournament. McDonogh is the two-time defending champion. Finals are tentatively scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
