Ravens (12-5) At Titans (13-3)

Ravens Gameday

January 05, 2009

What: AFC divisional playoff game

When: Saturday, 4:30 p.m.

TV: Chs. 13, 9

Radio: 1090 AM, 97.9 FM

Where: LP Field, Nashville, Tenn.

How they got here: The Ravens, as the sixth seed in the AFC, defeated the AFC East champion Miami Dolphins, 27-9, in a wild-card game yesterday. The Titans had the best record in the NFL and earned home-field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs. They had a bye this past weekend.

We meet again: The Ravens lost to the Titans, 13-10, on Oct. 5 at M&T Bank Stadium. Terrell Suggs was called for a questionable roughing-the-passer penalty on a third down that would have forced the Titans to punt. Veteran QB Kerry Collins threw the game-winning touchdown pass nine plays later.

Coaches: A rookie head coach, John Harbaugh, 46, spent the previous 10 seasons as an assistant for the Philadelphia Eagles. Jeff Fisher, 50, has the longest tenure of any active NFL coach at 15 seasons.

Quarterbacks: Ravens rookie Joe Flacco finished the regular season 257-for-428 for 2,971 yards and 14 TDs. Kerry Collins took over for Vince Young as the Titans' starter early in the season and was 242-for-415 for 2,676 yards and 12 TDs.

Running backs: The Ravens' Le'Ron McClain carried 232 times for 902 yards and 10 touchdowns during the regular season. Rookie Chris Johnson led the Titans with 1,228 yards and nine TDs on 251 carries. LenDale White ran for 773 yards.

Sack kings: Defensive end-linebacker Suggs had eight sacks during the regular season and added one yesterday against the Dolphins. Titans defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth had 8 1/2 sacks during the regular season.
