Timothy A. Moore, who worked as an art teacher in Baltimore public schools for a quarter-century, died Friday after suffering a heart attack. He was 60.

Born in DuBois, Pa., Mr. Moore graduated from DuBois Area High School. He then earned a degree from Colorado State University.

When he wasn't teaching, traveling around the world or mentoring inner-city youth, he was an active member of the Pine Valley Swim and Tennis Club in Baltimore County, family members said.

A visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the Ruck Funeral Home, 5305 Harford Road, Baltimore.

He is survived by four brothers, William A. Moore of Greensburg, Pa., Samuel E. Moore and Joseph E. Zawacki, both of DuBois, and Jan "Butch" Zawacki of Baltimore; and a sister, Laura T. Moore Soltyka of Buffalo, N.Y.
