The good news is that kids younger than 10 eat free at participating Denny's restaurants with the purchase of an adult meal, 4 p.m.-10 p.m. Tuesdays-Saturdays. The not-so-good news is that it's easy for those meals to break the bank on fat, calories and sodium. The Little Dippers Sampler, pictured with fruit, looks like a good choice, but it's got 23 grams fat and a whopping 1,200 milligrams sodium - before you even get to the fruit or the dressings. Flying Saucer pizza has a better profile.

Little Dippers Sampler (without fruit, dressing or marinara): Per serving (6 ounces):

420 calories, 16 grams protein, 23 grams fat, 8 grams saturated fat, 82 grams carbohydrate, 1 gram fiber, 105 milligrams cholesterol, 1,200 milligrams sodium

Flying Saucer Pizza Per serving (4 ounces):

320 calories, 11 grams protein, 14 grams fat, 4 grams saturated fat, 38 grams carbohydrate, 2 grams fiber, 5 milligrams cholesterol,470 milligrams sodium
