Western Baltimore

Shooting A man, 30, was in critical condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center after he was shot shortly after 5 p.m. Tuesday while standing inside a West Baltimore convenience store in the 900 block of Bennett Place near North Fremont Avenue. No arrest had been made.

Southeastern Baltimore

Assault Police were seeking a man armed with two knives who forcibly entered a house in the 100 block of N. Glover St. through a kitchen window about 10:30 a.m. Monday and sexually assaulted a 22-year-old woman. After the attack, the man robbed the woman of a small amount of money and a cell phone. Anyone with information is asked to call the district detective unit at 410-396-2422.

Robbery An 85-year-old woman of the 200 block of S. East Ave. was assaulted and robbed shortly after 4 p.m. Monday by two men who came to her front door and asked her for water. When the woman returned with a glass of water, the men forced their way in and knocked her to the floor. The men fled with a 13-inch TV. Police said the woman suffered chest pains and a minor head laceration and was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Stolen vehicle A black 2006 Chevrolet Malibu with tags 105 D34 was stolen Tuesday in the 100 block of N. Washington St.

Robbery Two men, one with a handgun, entered the Eagle Market in the 3100 block of Pulaski Highway about 10 a.m. Tuesday and assaulted an employee before removing an undisclosed amount from a cash register.

Robbery A man, 57, was standing at a bus stop in the 2200 block of Eastern Ave. about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday when a car occupied by two people stopped and invited him for a ride and "some fun." Moments later, the driver stopped and a second man got into the vehicle. In the 2200 block of Essex St., the three, one armed with a knife, robbed the man of $100 and forced him from the vehicle. The victim sustained a minor cut.

Stolen vehicle A green 1998 Dodge van with tags 25T66M1 was stolen Tuesday in the 3300 block of Leverton Ave.

Baltimore Co. -- Essex

Burglary Someone entered the parking lot of American Truck Co. in the 10000 block of Pulaski Highway between Monday night and Tuesday and took welding equipment from a truck. The equipment was valued at $2,300.

Baltimore Co. -- Cockeysville

Robbery Three men, one with a gun, entered Timonium Texaco in the 2400 block of York Road about 11 p.m. Monday and robbed the attendant. They stole his wallet, two cell phones, an undisclosed sum and cigarettes.

Baltimore Co -- Pikesville

Burglaries Between Dec. 19 and Tuesday, someone broke into an apartment in the 4600 block of Horizon Court through a kitchen window and stole a portable TV. On Tuesday, someone broke into an apartment on the same street through a window and took a laptop computer, an iPod, a DVD player, a scooter and a doll.
