Five people hurt in two unrelated accidents

Five people were hurt in two separate incidents last night in Baltimore County and Baltimore City, officials said. In Parkton, shortly before 8 p.m., a Chevrolet Corvette rolled over on Middletown Road, injuring the two people inside, according to Baltimore County officials. Firefighters worked for several minutes to free the driver and passenger, who were treated at York Hospital in York, Pa.

Shortly before 11 p.m., two cars collided at Greenmount and East North avenues in Baltimore, city fire officials said. Two people were taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital and another to Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where they were being treated for serious injuries last night. That collision is under investigation.
