The oldest high-temperature record for a December day in Baltimore was set on this date in 1877. The mercury reached 67 degrees on that day, and there hasn't been a warmer Dec. 20 since. Four other temperature records from the 1870s are still on the December books: R ecord lows of 4 degrees and 1 degree on Dec. 9 and 10, 1876, and record low maximum s of 28 and 23 degrees, on Dec. 1 and 10, 1876.
