David Gerstman of Baltimore wonders about my blog's Top Ten Baltimore Weather Events list, ranking the February 2003 snowstorm No. 2, after Tropical Storm Agnes in 1972. "Wasn't the blizzard of Feb. 1983 bigger." he asks. Nope. A record 28.2 inches fell at BWI on Feb 15-18, 2003. The 1983 storm dropped 22.8, third deepest since 1891. February 2003 was alo our snowiest month, with 40.5 inches
