BOYS BASKETBALL

Loyola @ No. 8 Towson Catholic

WHEN: Tomorrow, 7 p.m.

OUTLOOK: Two of the area's best guards will be on the floor, with Loyola leaning on William and Mary-bound senior Matt Rum and the host Owls answering with Devin Spencer. The home team, which already has a big win over upstart John Carroll, will look to get up and down in a hurry and can go to senior C Malcolm Sizer. The team that controls the tempo and takes better care of the ball will win.

BOYS BASKETBALL

No. 5 Walbrook @ No. 6 Digital Harbor

WHEN: Monday, 5:15 p.m.

OUTLOOK: The visiting Warriors bring 6-foot-8 do-it-all junior F Roscoe Smith, who averages 29 points, 12 rebounds and 4.5 blocks this season. The Rams counter with depth and experience, returning four starters from last season's 16-5 team. The Jackson brothers - George and Justin - lead the way for the home team, which banks on scrappy defense to set the tone. Limiting Smith will be the key for the Rams, and few teams have done it so far.

THE BALTIMORE SUN'S PICK: Walbrook

GIRLS BASKETBALL

No. 2 Arundel @ No. 5 Seton Keough

WHEN: Monday, 6 p.m.

OUTLOOK: The Gators will be looking to rebound from Saturday's loss to City when they meet another highly ranked public school team. This game features two of the area's top post players in the Gators' 6-4 C Asya Bussie and Arundel's 6-4 C Sheronne Vails, but the game could be won in the backcourt. The Wildcats want to avenge last season's 56-45 loss to the Gators.

Seton Keough
