Eastern Baltimore
Shooting Police continued to seek a gunman who shot a man three times during an apparent drug-related incident in the 2000 block of E. Lafayette Ave. about 2 p.m. Friday. The victim, Dawron Johnson, 41, was standing in the street when he was shot. He was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital and listed in critical condition. At the scene, police recovered three spent shell casings from a 9 mm semiautomatic handgun. Anyone with information is urged to call the district's detective unit at 410-396-2433.
Southern Baltimore
Theft A navigational system valued at $600, $80 cash and other property, all valued at $1,030, were stolen Friday from a 2004 Nissan truck parked in the 1600 block of Webster St. by someone who entered through the door.
Burglary A DVD player, several DVDs, playing cards and other electronics, all valued at $6,000, were stolen Dec. 7 from a house in the 100 block of S. Carrollton Ave. by someone who entered through a front window. The burglary was reported Friday.
Assault Police were seeking the person who threw a brick through the front window of a house in the 1600 block of Elm Tree Ave. about 3 a.m. Friday, striking a female resident in the right leg. The woman was not seriously injured.
Burglary A laptop computer and video games, all valued at nearly $2,000, were stolen Thursday from a house in the 900 block of Coppin Circle by someone who entered through a rear bedroom window.
Northern Baltimore
Robbery A 20-year-old Johns Hopkins University student was walking in the 2700 block of N. Charles St. about 6:20 p.m. Saturday when he was robbed of a necklace and $100 by two men, one armed with a handgun. During the robbery, the student knocked the gun from the gunman's hands, and both men fled. The student followed one of the men to the rear of the North Avenue Motel, where he lost him.
Robbery A woman, 53, was walking in the 700 block of McKewin Ave. about 5 a.m. Saturday when she was assaulted by a man wearing latex gloves who robbed her of her purse containing a cell phone and a check for more than $900.
Northeastern Baltimore
Robbery A man, 80, was walking near his home in the 1600 block of Pentwood Road about 1 p.m. Saturday when he was grabbed from behind by a young man who robbed him of $150.
Robbery Police were seeking two males who assaulted a man, 20, at a bus stop in the 5500 block of Frankford Ave. about 9 p.m. Saturday and robbed him of his wallet and $16.
