As Wednesday morning's storm approached, Donald Gansauer noticed a orange tint to the clouds over Canton: "Other times, during particularly stormy events, the clouds will exhibit, a greenish shade. Why?" The orange hue likely reflected the unseen sunrise. Ominous greens before violent storms have been linked to hail, very tall clouds, or even light reflecting off foliage. Nobody knows for sure.
