An article yesterday about the Baltimore Opera Company's filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy-law protection referred to a creditor in Milan, Italy, identified in the court petition as a spa owed $15,000. The business in question, C.T.C. Spa, is a scenic design firm; in Italian, the spelling S.p.A. would be used to indicate incorporation.

The Baltimore Sun regrets the error.
