The Anne Arundel Conflict Resolution Center is seeking entries from local singers for the second annual Annapolis Idol competition to be held at 5 p.m. March 1 at Renditions in Davidsonville.

Contestants will showcase their singing talent in front of a live audience and panel of local judges.

Interested residents should send a CD of their singing to Annapolis Idol, Anne Arundel Conflict Resolution Center, 2666 Riva Road, Annapolis, Md 21401. CDs are not returnable. The CD should include the entry form from the AACRC web site at www.aacrc-md.us. A file also can be e-mailed, or e-mail annapolisidol@yahoo.com to arrange a phone audition.

Contestants must be at least 18 years old by March 1 and able to perform a Top 40/mainstream pop song live to music they select and coordinate with a professional DJ who is provided.

Entries must be received by Jan. 16 and finalists will be notified by e-mail or phone by Feb. 1.
