A Hanover man was arrested yesterday in the death of a Pennsylvania man whose decomposed body was found in a stream bed in Jessup last year, Anne Arundel County police said.

Duna Turon Bulow, 25, of the first block of Briars Knoll Way was arrested in Baltimore early yesterday and charged by Pennsylvania State Police with first-degree murder in the death of Leonard Richard Prahl, 55.

Prahl's body, which was found in a ravine near Max Blob's Park Road in February 2007, was so badly decomposed that the medical examiner was unable to determine the cause of death at the time.

In September, an informer told Anne Arundel police that Prahl had been killed in Pennsylvania before his body was dumped in the stream, county police said, and his death was reclassified as a homicide.

Pennsylvania State Police, who are leading the investigation, believe that Prahl was killed in his home in Lakeville in northwestern Pennsylvania. Prahl had told relatives who live in Anne Arundel County that he would visit a few weeks before his body was found.

Bulow is being held in the county detention center awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania, police said.
