It's Happening

5 Things To Look For Today

November 28, 2008

1

Have a Brawl:

They call this football game the Backyard Brawl: West Virginia vs. Pittsburgh (noon, chs. 2, 7). One upside would be all that brawling might blow the leaves away.

2

Nose for the ball:

With the Terps men's basketball team continuing play in the Old Spice Classic (5:30 p.m., ESPN), you certainly can't say any of the teams stink.

3

It'll pay off later:

The Coppin State men make another of their visits to a school whose cafeteria is probably bigger than the Eagles' gym - at Kansas, 8 p.m.

4

Semi-tough:

High school football reaches the state semifinals tonight at 7 at various sites. This week, Century travels to Clarksville to try to derail River Hill.

5

Talking smack:

On Friday Night SmackDown (8 p.m., Ch. 24), Edge makes his first TV appearance since winning the WWE title. (At least, that's what Kevin Eck - baltimoresun.com/ ringposts - told us.)
