* MGH announced the appointments of Robyn Bowers as media assistant, Katie Beach and Rusty Walters as word-of-mouth account coordinators, and Christopher LaRoche as traffic coordinator for the Owings Mills-based marketing communications agency.


* John Hopkins University appointed Alison G. Milligan as senior director of its engineering for professionals program. She was formerly an engineering manager with LSI Logic Inc.


* McGuire Woods LLP announced that Jessica D. Fegan joined the law firm as an associate in the business and securities litigation department of its Baltimore office. She was formerly clerk for U.S. District Judge Beth P. Gesner.


* The Arc of Carroll County named Lisa Albin to the staff as its director of development. She is responsible for membership development, giving programs and grant funding. Formerly with the Carroll County Times, she earned a master's degree at Towson University.

* Merkle announced the selection of Marc Fanelli as vice president of solution development and Owen McCorry as vice president of business development for the Columbia-based database marketing firm.

* Centric Business Systems Inc. appointed Scott Schnabel as vice president of sales for the Owings Mills-based office technology provider.
