Giants RB Brandon Jacobs vs. Ravens LBs Ray Lewis and Bart Scott

The last time Jacobs played against the Ravens was in a preseason game, and he ran right over Scott and Lewis several times. Jacobs is a big, physical runner. Lewis and Scott are both big hitters, but they'll have to gang-tackle Jacobs consistently to bring him down.

Edge: Jacobs:

Giants WR Plaxico Burress vs. Ravens CB Fabian Washington

Burress doesn't have outstanding speed, but he runs good routes and has good hands. When he is focused, he is one of the best in the NFL. Washington can play press coverage and can run with Burress. The problem is Burress has 6 inches of height on Washington, and the Giants will take advantage.

Giants DE Justin Tuck vs. Ravens RTs Willie Anderson and Adam Terry

Tuck is versatile enough to play tackle or end. He leads the team in sacks with 8.5 and can use speed and leverage, or simply overpower players. Anderson and Terry have played well, especially run-blocking. But both struggle against speed rushers to the outside.
