Cradlerock to host lunch for fathers

The Judy Center and Cradlerock School will honor school fathers and other significant men in the lives of Cradlerock's kindergarten children at the fourth "Meals With Magnificent Men," an outreach program coordinated through the Judy Center.

The traditional Thanksgiving lunch will be followed by interactive literacy activities, such as reading stories and learning through singing.

The event will be held at 10:15 a.m. Friday at Cradlerock School, 6700 Cradlerock Way.

The event is part of a program to reinforce the importance of parent involvement at the school and to provide insight into the kindergarten program.

Hatha yoga class

Mary Frankos will teach a hatha yoga class from 6 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. Wednesday at Amherst House, 7251 Eden Brook Drive, in the Kings Contrivance Village Center.

The three-week session starts Dec. 3. The cost is $36 for Columbia Association lien-payers; $39 for others.

Single again : "Changing Focus/Single Again," a nonprofit program for adults who are separated, widowed or in the process of divorce, provides weekly presentations and small-group discussions in a confidential, comfortable atmosphere.
