Yesterday, police identified the man shot about 5 a.m. Nov. 7 in the 600 block of Sewell St. near Argyle Avenue in the Upton neighborhood. Leroy J. Taylor, 45, died yesterday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. His home address was not available. Police were in the area for another call when they heard gunshots and found Taylor bleeding from multiple wounds. No arrest has been made.
Western BaltimoreVictim identified
Ernest McFadden, 39, of the 1000 block of W. Pratt St. was identified yesterday as the man shot Nov. 3 in the Poppleton community and who died a short time later at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. McFadden was found about 5:30 p.m. near West Saratoga Street and Carrollton Avenue by police responding to a shooting report. Police continue to seek three men in the shooting.
A man in his 20s was shot about 6:30 p.m. yesterday in the 2000 block of Robb St. and died less than an hour later at Johns Hopkins Hospital's trauma center. The man's name was withheld until his family is notified. Details were not available. Metro Crime Stoppers, 410-276-8888, is offering up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and an indictment.
A man, 73, was arrested about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday when he showed up at his girlfriend's house in the 1000 block of Upnor Road armed with a handgun. Charged with unlawful possession of a handgun was Edward McClean of the 3600 block of Marble Hall Road. The woman called police when the man revealed the gun in his waistband.
Someone broke into a house under renovation in the 300 block of E. 21st St. through a rear window between Nov. 3 and Tuesday and stole a refrigerator, a stove and a dishwasher. The property was valued at $2,400.
Assault Police were seeking a woman, 18, who attempted to cut a teenage boy with a box cutter during an argument Monday night in a house in the 1400 block of Darley Ave.
Theft/arrest A teenage boy was arrested Monday and charged as a juvenile with stealing video games, an iPod and a sofa from the house of a friend in the 1800 block of N. Milton Ave.

Four teenage males and a teenage female were arrested Tuesday night and charged with the armed robbery of three residents of an apartment in the first block of Shawnee Court. After the intruders forced their way into the apartment and demanded money at gunpoint, they fled with a laptop computer, video games, a wallet, a circular saw and a paint-ball gun. All five were arrested, and the property was recovered.

A wireless adapter, video games, a laptop computer and a head set, all valued at nearly $1,500, were stolen Monday from a house in the 7400 block of Linden Ave.
