Quartermania and craft show

The Elkridge Volunteer Fire Department, 6275 Old Washington Blvd., Elkridge, will hold Quartermania, a combination of bingo and a raffle, at 7 p.m. Thursday and Jan. 15.

Home-party vendors will be on hand; each consultant will have at least 10 products on which to bid. The cost to bid depends on the cost of the item. Take quarters for bidding. Tickets, which cost $3, are limited.

A Craft & Vendor Show, with home-party vendors and local artisans, is planned from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 22. A holiday craft workshop for children will be available. Santa will arrive at 10 a.m. by fire engine, and children can have their pictures taken with him. The kitchen will be open for lunch.

An All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast with Santa will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Dec. 14. On the menu are pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, baked apples, toast, chipped beef, sausage gravy, fruit salad, cold cereal, coffee hot tea, milk and juices.

Moms to meet : The MOMS Club of Ellicott City South, part of a nonprofit international organization that provides support for mothers who have chosen to stay home to raise children, meets to socialize, bring their children together and hear speakers. A nursery is open during meetings, although children are welcome to remain with their parents. Outings and activities are also planned, including a monthly event called "MOMS Night Out."
