FOOTBALL

Severna Park @ Chesapeake:

WHEN:: Tomorrow, 6:30 p.m.

OUTLOOK:: The visiting Falcons are trying to hold off county rival Broadneck for the fourth and final playoff spot in the Class 4A East region. A win at Chesapeake tomorrow will likely take care of that. Senior QB Sam Jones has been the Falcons' focal point all season, including his second straight three-touchdown game (two throws, one run) last week in a 31-7 win over South River. Senior WR Zach Karr, who had six catches for 79 yards and one TD last week, is one of Jones' reliable targets. The host Cougars take a 2-7 record into the game.

FOOTBALL

Broadneck @ No. 7 North County:

WHEN:: Tomorrow, 6:45 p.m.

OUTLOOK:: Broadneck came through in a must-win situation in last week's 31-13 win over Meade, stifling Mustangs senior QB Raymond Cotton and getting a strong outing from its senior QB Kyle Colleran. The Bruins, who are just behind Severna Park for fourth place in the Class 4A East, find themselves in the same situation tomorrow with the chore much tougher. The Knights take an 8-1 mark in the game and are battling for the county championship and top seed in 4A East with Old Mill and Arundel, which also have 8-1 marks. North County senior RB Dino Stevens has proven to be an offensive threat, with 1,543 total yards on offense and 24 total touchdowns.
