JAMES D. HUTCHINSON, 92, went home to be with the Lord, October 30, 2008.He was born in Baltimore, MD, where he lived until moving to Chesapeake, VA, two years ago to be closer to his youngest daughter and her husband. He served in the Army Air Force from 1945-1946, stationed in the Aleutian Islands. He retired from Armco Steel after 37 years as a crane engineer. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 68 years, Alberta. He is also survived by two daughters, Shirley Beddoe and Sharon Roach; his son-in-law, Charles Roach; three grandchildren, Michael Roach and wife Audra, Sara Woods and husband, Adam and Lindsey Roach; a great-grandchild, Brayden James Woods; his sister, Thelma Meninger and Laura Landon and their families; and a nephew, Ronald Canary and wife Joan. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in his honor to Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 8th Avenue, 7th floor, New York, NY, 10001.
