Edgewood Alliance plans breakfast meetings

The Edgewood Alliance will hold a series of breakfast meetings to help the Edgewood business community.

The group's mission is to involve residents in creating a positive image of Edgewood.

The breakfasts will be held at 7:30 a.m. the second Friday of every month at the Edgewood American Legion, 415 Edgewood Road. Doors will open at 7:15 a.m. for a breakfast buffet. The cost is $10, payable at the door.

The meeting will feature Shelter Group Woodbridge Commons staff members discussing Edgewood's residential growth.

The Dec. 12 program will feature a panel sponsored by Hess Hotels on "Business and Nonprofits - A Partnership for Success," and holiday entertainment.

Sponsorships are available for breakfast programs.

Credit union adds staff

HAR-CO Maryland Federal Credit Union has added two staff members and redesigned its flagship Bel Air branch.

Sarah Benson is the new vice president and director of service and sales. She will manage HAR-CO's three branches and the call center. Erin Bender has been named the Bel Air branch manager.

The Bel Air branch has been renovated with improvements to the lobby teller area and integration of electronics to speed customer service. The drive-through has been expanded to five stations, including a drive-up ATM.

The outside ATM and a secure walk-in ATM are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
