Armed robber sought

An armed man rushed into a Brooklyn Park home early Thursday, pushed a woman who lived there into a closet and ran off with a sum of money, county police said. A 54-year-old woman was entering her home in the 300 block of Panorama Way when a man emerged from a shadowy area, brandished a handgun and pushed the woman into the home, police said. The man forced the woman to open a safe, then pushed her into a closet and ransacked the master bedroom before running off with an undisclosed amount of money, police said. Police searched with a helicopter and dogs but were unable to find the suspect.

Delivery driver robbed

Two men armed with a handgun robbed a delivery driver for a Crofton restaurant Tuesday evening, county police said. About 9:15, an employee was about to enter the back door of Hunan Express restaurant in the 1100 block of Route 3, when two men walked up to him and one pressed a handgun to his head. The employee gave the two men the money in his pockets, police said. Officers were not able to find the suspects.
