Davidsonville man arrested on drug charges

Police seized nearly $1,000 of steroids, trace amounts of cocaine and drug paraphernalia from a Davidsonville home Wednesday, concluding a monthlong investigation, county police said.

Officers from a tactical drug team found the drugs while searching a home in the 700 block of Sharpsburg Drive on a warrant.

Michael Damian Paddy, 31, a resident of the home, was arrested and charged with drug possession and steroid possession.

Annapolis man arrested on gun charges

An Annapolis man threatened to shoot a woman, kicked a mailbox and banged on a door Wednesday evening, city police said.

About 7 p.m., a woman told police her ex-boyfriend had been hollering and striking the door of her house in the 1900 block of Copeland St.

The man was told to leave the home by officers, but as he walked away, he kicked a mailbox and broke into a run, police said. Officers were unable to find him.

About an hour and a half later, another woman called police and said that the same man was standing front of her home in the 900 block of Royal St. and had threatened to shoot her, police said.

Officers arrested William McGhee, 44, of Copeland Street and charged him with disorderly conduct and carrying a concealed deadly weapon.

McGhee did not have a gun, but he was carrying a pair of brass knuckles, police said.
