Scholarships available

The Columbia Association is seeking nominations for the Spirit of Columbia Scholarship Award, given each year to Columbia high school seniors who have shown dedication to community service.

This year, as many as six $2,500 scholarships will be awarded to graduating high school seniors who live on Columbia Association-assessed property or have a parent who works full time on such property.

They must have at least a C average and have a history of volunteer service to the community.

Applications are available at high schools, Columbia community centers and at CA headquarters. They can also be downloaded at www.columbiaassociation.org.

Completed applications must be submitted by March 2.
