Space cadets! Kids! Help scientists map global light pollution. If you can count the stars visible in the evening constellation Cygnus, you can contribute to the Great World Wide Star Count. Last year's count drew 6,624 observations. Just find Cygnus between Oct. 20 and Nov. 3, match what you see to star maps available online and file your report via the Internet. For details, visit www.windows.ucar.edu/starcount.
