No less an authority than boxing historian Bert Sugar ranks the three Riddick Bowe-Evander Holyfield heavyweight title bouts as the third-best trilogy ever in the sport. ESPN is showing the first two fights, from 1992 and 1993. In '92, Bowe took the championship by dealing Holyfield his first defeat. Sugar ranks the 10th round of that fight as one of boxing's greatest. In '93, Holyfield won his title back and gave Bowe his first pro loss. That event featured the bizarre, airborne intrusion of "Fan Man" (at right).
