Maryland offense vs. Virginia defense: The Terps will look to re-establish their running game after Da'Rel Scott's subpar performance at Clemson. The Cavaliers are giving up 173.2 yards a game on the ground. Maryland coach Ralph Friedgen has indicated he might make changes on the offensive line to improve run blocking.

Maryland defense vs. Virginia offense: The Terps surrendered big rushing yardage to Clemson in the first half last week. Last season, the Cavaliers rushed for 191 yards in the win over the Terps. This season, Virginia is gaining just 66 yards a game on the ground, and past Terps destroyer Mikell Simpson is averaging 27 yards. Virginia wide receiver Kevin Ogletree has 22 catches.
