Ravens Weekend

If you're a female Ravens fan, the team has a night out planned for you.

The Ravens will host their annual women's event, "A Purple Evening," on Monday at M&T Bank Stadium. The festivities begin at 6 p.m. and include on-field activities, Football 101 sessions, fan forums, exclusive stadium access and appearances by Ravens players.

This event has grown from the previous "Ravens Women Festival" and "Football 101" events offered in years past, according to Andi Goodwin, advertising and research manager for the Ravens. The evolution follows the growth of Purple, the official Ravens club created for women, which started with about 1,000 members in August 2007 and now has 6,119 members.

The Ravens expect 1,500 fans Monday. The event costs $40 with free parking in Lot B. For more information, go to baltimoreravens.com/purple.
