5 things to look for today

October 02, 2008

1

Fall ball:

Attend LDS services via television. That's League Division Series, with three games, starting at 2:37 p.m., all on TBS.

2

No rest:

After losing to No. 3 North Carolina, 5-0, Sunday, the Maryland women's soccer team tries to get back to .500 against No. 14 Florida State (7 p.m., College Park).

3

My favorite Mawrtians:

No Ray Walston or Bill Bixby, but No. 6 Bryn Mawr plays at No. 8 Archbishop Spalding at 4 p.m. in field hockey.

4

Up for debate:

One candidate in tonight's vice presidential debate (9, various channels) is a former sportscaster. So if the question is how to calculate ERA, you know who will nail it.

5

Sweet memories:

Remember last year's WrestleMania, with Floyd Mayweather and Snoop Dogg? Relive it with highlights on Channel 24 at 8 p.m.
