Police reports in Baltimore city and county:

Northern Baltimore

Robberies Two Morgan State University students, a man, 20, and a woman, 19, were walking in the 1100 block of E. Belvedere Ave. about 9:15 p.m. Sunday when they were stopped by two men who asked the male student for the time. When the students continued on their way, one of the men pulled out a handgun. The robbers stole the man's watch and car keys. They then robbed the woman of her purse containing a cell phone, a digital camera and other property. The robbers fled on foot, and no injuries were reported.

Northeastern Baltimore

Arrest A Northeast Baltimore man has been arrested and charged in a fatal shooting. Jeffrey Brown, 34, of the 1500 block of Wadsworth Way in the Loch Raven community, was charged with first-degree murder and was being held without bail at the Central Booking and Intake Center, police said. Shortly after 3 p.m. Thursday, Northeastern District police responding to a report of a man shot outside Brown's home found Darien Sawyer, 29, of the 400 block of N. Linwood Ave. lying on the front porch, bleeding from a bullet wound to the chest. Sawyer was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he died less than 30 minutes later. Police said Brown was interviewed as a suspect shortly after the shooting and was arrested and charged yesterday.

Southern Baltimore

Shooting Police were seeking a man who attempted to rob C&N Laundry in the 1900 block of W. Pratt St. about 5 a.m. Sunday. After asking the manager, 61, for change, the man pulled out a handgun and demanded money from the safe. When the manager told the gunman there was no money in the safe, the gunman shot him in the left arm before fleeing. The victim was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Baltimore Co. -- White Marsh

Robbery A man, 33, was walking along Fontana Lane near Gemini Court about 12:30 a.m. Sunday when he was stopped by two men who asked if he had drugs. When the man said he had none, the men robbed him of $80 and a pack of cigarettes.

Burglary Jewelry and video games were stolen over the weekend from a house in the 8000 block of Caradoc Drive in Rosedale by someone who entered through a sliding glass door. The property was valued at nearly $11,000.

Baltimore Co. -- Cockeysville

Robbery A man, 26, was walking along Hogarth Circle about 9 p.m. Sunday when three teenagers, one of whom implied he had a gun, robbed him of a bag of cookies, a fruit drink and cat food. As the three youths were about to flee, the victim asked one of them to return the cat food. The youth did and all three escaped on foot.
