The east Columbia library, 6600 Cradlerock Way, will sponsor a Rock Band Tournament for ages 11 to 17 from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday.
Contestants can register alone or with up to four bandmates. Prizes will be awarded for skill and style. Permission slips are required.

The Oakland Mills Community Association will present "Stamping With Gina," a workshop on using stamping techniques to make handmade cards with a professional look, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 16 at The Other Barn in Oakland Mills Village Center, 5851 Robert Oliver Place.
