it's happening

August 24, 2008

1

Last time for pinstriped visitors at Camden Yards:

After today, you might still see Yankees fans this year, but you won't see them at Oriole Park cheering on their overpriced team (1:35 p.m.).

2

Nats to Cubs: Can we help?:

The Nationals have been more than willing to help out teams with postseason ambition. They finish a series at Wrigley today (2 p.m., MASN2).

3

Check the 'Oil':

The Colts play their first game at Indianapolis' new Lucas Oil Stadium in a preseason contest against the Bills. If you have NFL Network, you can see it tonight at 8.

4

It's Little, but it's big:

It's for all the marbles - among a group that might actually play with the marbles. The U.S. champ takes on the International champ for the Little League World Series title (3:30 p.m., channels 2, 7).

5

Nothing artificial about the $1 million:

The 3-1 favorite in the $1 million Pacific Classic, Go Between, has really taken to racing on synthetic tracks such as that at Del Mar (8 p.m., ESPN2).
