* Weber Shandwick announced the appointments of Brian Hartlove, and Christopher Durban, as senior vice presidents in the interactive and creative services departments. Brian Hayek and Fred Glock were named vice presidents in the creative services department

* Warschawski appointed Jess Jankoviak an associate for the Baltimore-based agency. She is responsible for daily account activity as well as client and media relations.

* gkv, based in Locust Point, named Heather Woolford associate director of public relations She will develop strategic internal and external communications programs, media campaigns and messaging strategies.


* Provident Bank appointed Vicki Cox, marketing department and Phillip Mosco, consumer banking division as senior vice presidents. Maurice Bevins was named a vice president in the commercial banking division

Health care

* Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center announced the selection of Cheryl Koch as vice president of support services at the East Baltimore medical facility.


* Whiteford, Taylor & Preston announced that Chad J. Toms joined the Baltimore-based regional law firm as counsel in the bankruptcy and business litigation section of its Wilmington, Del., office.


* Baltimore magazine appointed Max Weiss as managing editor. The Bennington College graduate is responsible for the daily operations of the editorial department and administrative duties.

Real estate

* Chase Fitzgerald & Co. Inc. announced that Adam D. Cockey Jr. joined the Roland Park real estate firm as a managing partner. He was formerly a senior vice president with Prudential Carruthers Realtors.
