Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Shooting: A man, 28, was seated in his parked car in the 1300 block of Guilford Ave. about 1:30 a.m. Monday when he was shot in the left arm by an unidentified man who fled on foot. The victim drove himself to Mercy Medical Center, where he was treated.


Shooting: Moments after a man, 32, and his 3-year-old son were leaving a store in the 1800 block of E. Lafayette Ave. about 2:15 p.m. Sunday, two men assaulted the father. During a struggle, the father shoved his son aside to prevent him from being injured and was shot in the left arm. The father was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital. His son was not injured.


Theft: A navigation system valued at $500 was stolen Sunday from a 2005 Saturn parked in the 100 block of S. Conkling St. by someone who entered the vehicle through a window.

Theft: A stereo system was stolen Saturday or Sunday from a 2003 Chrysler Voyager parked in the 100 block of N. Highland Ave. The system was valued at $400.

Robbery: Two women were walking in the first block of S. Regester St. about 1 a.m. Sunday when a gunman robbed one of them of her purse containing cash, a cell phone and other property.
